VIEW:
The Cancer Awareness Network for Immigrant Minority Populations (CANIMP) was established to conduct cancer control activities and improve access to clinical trials for New York's foreign-born minority community. The Network was built through partnerships among the NYU School of Medicine, the Kaplan Comprehensive Cancer Center, community-based organizations representing five immigrant groups (Haitian, Latino, Caribbean, Korean, and Chinese), and various cancer prevention and screening programs.
